I started designing the texts I already chose myself:

- The Carrier Bag Theory of Fiction by Ursula K. Le Guin
- Decolonising my desire by Jeremy O. Harris

(This was before the submissions came in.)

I focussed heavily on The Carrier Bag theory of fiction. My idea was to use different types of Carrier bags as a way to index my text, or to stylise my spreads. Later on I decided Le Guin her text should not be my main focus. Yes, her text has heavily inspired me, but I felt like I needed a different (read: more queer) direction.

To gather more sources I posted an Open Call post on my instagram. It got shared on Instagram around 60 times and I got around 10 submissions.
